Understanding the client and the location is essential to a successful garden design. Initial consultations are undertaken in person and on-site. We meet to view the garden and explore the client’s taste, style and requirements. Following this, we produce a written design brief with the design fee proposal.
A site measurement is carried out to assess boundaries, existing features, trees, levels and other measurements required for the design. This gives us the opportunity to explore the landscape in more detail recording any information we need for the design.
This is the beginning of the design process. We present the proposed outline design with accompanying visuals and discuss the ideas and options. This is where your vision comes to life!
We take you through each design decision and the overall thinking behind the concept. Upon receiving your feedback, we will develop the concept into a final landscape plan.
This document takes the form of a finished site plan clearly showing the design. It is to scale and includes a detailed plant list. In addition to the landscape plan we can provide irrigation and lighting plans.
